Ajoupa Bouillon Baptist Church

The story of the Ajoupa-Bouillon Baptist Evangelical Church is a bit like a family saga full of twists and turns! It all began in 1980 with André and Julie Lavenère, a Christian couple who decided to settle in Ajoupa-Bouillon. Imagine them, like pioneers, setting out to meet other believers in the area. Little by little, prayer meetings multiplied, and the living rooms became a bit cramped. And so, the church was born, with unwavering faith and a good dose of hard work!
After a series of adventures worthy of a novel (moves, temporary premises, dissolved and revived associations), the church finally found its home in 2003, thanks to the arrival of Pastor Mathy Edjam and his wife Lina. Just imagine: an old, dilapidated house transformed into a warm and welcoming place of worship, thanks to the help of the entire community.
Today, the church in Ajoupa-Bouillon is a family of about thirty members, still driven by the same faith and the same joy of life. So, if you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to drop by! You'll find a friendly atmosphere, uplifting songs, and smiles galore. And if you have any questions, don't worry, we don't bite (well, not too hard)! 😉 Welcome home!
